French term

collier monté sur une corde de voile

French to English Other Textiles / Clothing / Fashion
This is from a list of short descriptions for a magazine. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos to accompany these descriptions and this one has me stumped.

Mot clé : SUBLIME AMPHITRITE
Légende : Ce collier monté sur une corde de voile s’inspire des profondeurs marines et fera succomber tous les Poséidon de la plage, Celine.

Thank you

An idea.

Cable necklace might work too.

necklace strung on rigging line

Hard to tell, but sounds like some sort of yachting rope/cord/line being used in place of beading thread. Rigging line comes in a variety of thicknesses and materials (fibre, metal, etc.) so I think this covers the largest base of possibilities.

Nevermind what I said about metal rigging line! Got confused... this doesn't actually exist to my knowledge. Rigging line is made of textile fibres, like a thin rope.
Peer comment(s):

agree Claire Chapman : or rigging cable. And I'm actually ok with the idea that it could be metal. http://www.nauticalluxuries.com/php/index.php?sc=10

Round Thimble

Round Thimble is a ring attached to the sail rope to fasten other ropes and thus the sail itself. A possibility, but thard to tell from a list of course
