English to German Law/Patents Computers: Systems, Networks Öffentliche Beschaffung

Es geht um das öffentliche Auftragswessen/Beschaffungswesen im Bereich Server, Serverräume, IT-Dienste.
Probleme habe ich mit der Übersetzung von "participation" im Zusammenhang mit "EU Code of Conduct". Ein Bieter kann sich dem gegenüber verpflichten, sich danach richten, die Vorgaben einhalten oder sonst was, aber an einem Verhaltenskodex teilnehmen/sich daran beteiligen?
Textbeispiel:
"The tenderer must provide designs and drawings that incorporate Code of Conduct / EN 50600 TR99-1 best practices. ... In case of *participation in the EU Code of Conduct*, the tenderer must provide the filled-in reporting form submitted for *registering with the EU Code of Conduct*, including the description of the implementation plan for the expected practices. Proof of the *participation status* granted by the European Commission DG Joint Research Centre must also be provided.
Acceptance as a *participant in the EU Code of Conduct* and implementation of the best practices will also be monitored under a contract performance clause."
