Mislim da je oblik pridjeva "informatički" u Vašem tekstu pogrešan. Onaj koji je pisao nije svjestan razlike između informatičkog i informacijskog.

Lirka: but 'drustvo' is something else than 'industry'...the latter being much broader

-> Yes, and that's because such Croatian phrase really means: any goods or service imaginable within scope of products or services supplied by a generic IT company. It is used when managers do not really know what is company supposed to do, so to speak.

bonafide1313: slažem se da... informatičko društvo je pojam sociologije i sličnih znanosti, i teško da netko može "obavljati djelatnosti informatičkog društva" osim sastavljača kojima pismeno izražavanje nije najjača strana:) još da to kaže Bill Gates, ajde, nekako:)

-> A što ako se ispostavi da mso to potpomagali prevođenje društvenog ugovora kojim se spajaju Microsoft, SAP, CISCO, Apple, HP i još desetak takvih "obrtničkih zadružica"? :)

ne, upravo suprotno, radi se o najširem pojmu, tj. djelatnostima koje su tipične za društvo informacija/informacijsko društvo

Asker: U ovom primjeru radi se o društvu u cijelosti (information society > informacijsko društvo), dok mi se čini da je u ovom mojem riječ o društvu u onom drugom, komercijalnom smislu (as in "company"), i to zbog pridjeva "informatičko", pa značenje onda ne bi bilo "djelatnosti koje služe uspostavljanju i održavanju informacijskog društva" kao u navedenom primjeru, već "djelatnosti društva, odnosno tvrtke koja se bavi informatikom", a za to nikako da nađem prikladan ekvivalent. Hvala na poticajnoj referenci!
