Similar situation in Toronto Mar 7, 2011

I am not entirely sure what the rates are in Ottawa now, but freelance interpreters get $25 per hour I believe, in Toronto. Recently there was a very famous case where trials were reportedly stalled because they could not find a certified Mandarin interpreter in the area (if not all of Ontario if I'm not mistaken)...while interpreters in B.C make substantially more.
