Ver.4.0 with Asian languages

I liked the way I could set the fonts for source and target to Verdana in 3.6 and have both Japanese and English display nicely.

This isn't possible in 4.0 and you have to download or buy a Unicode font. But with these fonts, either the Japanese or English or both are displayed in a horrible lumpy, uneven manner that is very hard on the eyes.
