Why is it that there is not always a preview available of the file being translated? Due to problems with footnotes/segmenting (see post http://www.proz.com/forum/memoq_support/154460-how_can_i_separate_text_and_footnotes_to_translate_them_separately.html), I tried importing my source file both in Word 2003 and in Word 2007 (docx) format. While the 2003 version was graced with a preview in MemoQ, the docx file wasn't. Is it simply that MemoQ does not provide previews for docx files, or is there some other, subtler reason? Either way, does anyone (and here I'm hoping for Kilgray feedback; I know - and appreciate the fact that - they keep an eye on this forum) know when/if/how this can be resolved?
Thanks, as always, for any enlightnment ▲ Collapse
