Hi everybody, Sometimes a customer sends me a TM (in TMX format) that lacks client/subject attributes. Does anybody know how I can add that info myself, after importing the TMX file into a Déjà Vu TM? Any fancy SQL command? Many thanks in advance! Olaf

Alternatively, you can do this before importing by hacking the TMX file. Replace <tuv xml:lang="[code of language 1]"> with <prop type="Txt::Client">[name of client]</prop> <prop type="Txt::Subject">[subject area]</prop> <tuv xml:lang="[code of language 1]"> Back up your TMX file beforehand, of course.

I used the method suggested by Selcuk because it was faster, and it did indeed work like a charm

Hi everybody, After nearly a year without using this method, I just tried to use it again on another TM (and with different client/subject info) but without success. I got the following error message: "There was a syntax error in the SQL WHERE clause you provided." Has anybody got a clue what might be the reason?

Hi Olaf, These 2 SQL statements are correct for TMs but is it a Translation Memory or Termbase? Restart Windows, it will clear cache. Selcuk

Hi Selcuk, Thanks for your fast reply! I tried to execute this command in several TMs and with different client/subject info, but without success, even after rebooting my computer. Any other ideas? I am befuddled because it worked flawlessly last year.

Dear Selcuk, I have Windows 7 installed on my computer and I regularly delete my temporary files using CCleaner, but I still can't execute the SQL command. Any other solutions that you can think ok? I just updated DVX to the latest build, but that didn't solve the problem either. Only difference: The error message now reads: "SQL syntax error" (whereas previously it said: "There was a syntax error in the SQL WHERE clause you provided.") Kind regards, ... Hi Olaf, Perhaps you are using the filter, it does not work of course. Commands should be inserted at Translation Memory > Execute SQL menu. Selcuk ------------------ Are you using DVX or DVX2? Latest build? Please name it, currently 8.0611 for DVX2.

Shame on me, I did indeed click on the filter (instead of executing the SQL command through the menu bar via Translation Memory > Execute SQL)! Silly mistake really, but I am glad the problem is sorted! I am going to make a screenshot of this immediately so that I won't repeat that mistake ever again Thanks a lot for your help, Selcuk!
