Bio

I am native Korean speaker, and learned English and Japanese for a long time - over 20 years for English, and 6 years for Japanese. And then i got a career as a patent staff in Korea's best known law firm. There i did translation work to make English/Japanese patent specifications into Korean. Every single case has its deadline, so working as a patent staff strengthened my time management skills, most necessary ability as a professional translator, obviously. And also, i learned how to manage kinds of confidential documents.

I studied mechanical engineering in university, so my specialist area lies in engineering. In addition, i spent years studying patent law and international law when i worked there, which means i have specialization in legal area, too. And i usually spend my free time in reading science articles(because biology and chemisty are my favorite subjects when i was in high school) written in English, it was quite helpful when i did translation work in law firm.

Finally, i have great interest in international politics and history. I spent recent 2 years to prepare Korean diplomat exam, and this exam includes international politics and diplomacy history subjects. So, i have no problem dealing with political, and historical contents. Plus, cosmetics, fashion and sports - because i always try to become a trendy person!
