I have lots of plants and flowers all over the house and on the balcony, its one of my passions!
I have green plants all over my apartment (a ZZ, a Calathea, an Areca, a Marginata) and some flower plants (orchids and violets) on my coffee table. I have been dreaming of a small vertical garden on my terrace but I live in a warm climate and the sun is too strong. I had two small olive trees on my terrace but they were attacked by a pest and I gave them to a gardener to be treated.
I'm blessed to have an ornamental garden, which I cultivate with passion (I am a certified garden designer). Since it's a quick step from my office, I haven't felt the need for too many house plants, though I have a couple in the living room.

I have as many as two gardens! There are plants as well as small trees. However, I'm used to working in the garden only in the spring | | | Mario Freitas Brazil Local time: 03:06 Member (2014) English to Portuguese + ...
Right now, I sit next to the balcony, and there are a few plants there. However, a lot less than I'd like to have. I actually want to work in a place surrounded by green, and shaded by leaves instead of concrete. But I have to move to a house to do that. In an apartment, it's a lot harder. So it is part of my future plans, but for now, I have to do with a few vases. | | | Mike Sadler (X) United Kingdom Local time: 07:06 Spanish to English + ... My wife is very keen indeed on house plants and we have more than enough everywhere in the house - except in my study, the garage and the garden shed. | | | Kay Denney France Local time: 08:06 French to English
I personally don't keep plants around me, but my partner has installed a few in here and I'm just a few steps away from a beautiful garden. I find dead-heading the roses and geraniums or pulling out a few weeds can be a very good way of taking a breather. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Poll: Do you keep plants around your workspace?
