This is a heading on an insurance policy from Panama. I've seen the entry for "reaseguro cedido" but I'm still not sure which option, if any, is right. I have found Ceded Coinsurance, but with very few entries. Any takers? Thank you in advance.

It's in the page "heading", above it is the name and address of the insurance carrier, then (just above) is the policy number, and below are the details of this insured (name, address, etc.). Following all that - in the body - are the coverages, liability limits, premium amounts and the rest of the document describes each coverage in detail, the deductible for each and the company locations insured. By the way, it's a 3D policy. Thanks very much.

From my experience of working in the insurance industry, I would say that "coinsurance ceded" is more likely to be the correct expression than "ceded coinsurance". However, it is impossible to be certain without seeing the full text under the heading.

Gentlemen, would the term, in either case be coinsurance allowed/ceded or allowed/ceded coinsurance - keeping in mind that it is the title of an insurance document which details the coverage. Thanks again!

agree Adrian MM. (X) : perhaps we could add that, in coinsurance, there is a horizontal arrangement with no leader vs. the vertical lead underwriter in re-insurance.
