declared, considered, Chimú territory by Tello
I cannot think of an English word that that means chimuizada that would make sense; however what they mean to say is "this region was declared Chimú territory by Tello." I just talked to my Peruvian wife about this.

"Chimuized"
Seems as if this is an invented word, based on the name of the culture.

: I've read a lot about the Chumú empire, and I don't think you can use a term here that is not in accepted archaeological use.

The term is not "archeological per se-it refers to the culture, as I mentioned above.
