The company is a light aircraft engine manufacturer who has designed an innovative engine which it intends to market as well as carry out replacements of old engines which will be using obsolete fuel from 2012.

i.e. supplying their new engine for brand new production aircraft, as opposed to supplying it as a replacement engine in existing aircraft as per the second part of the sentence.
From what you've said, there's still an element of doubt as to whether the replacement engines (to solve the fuel problem in 2012) are just revamped versions of the existing ones, or whether (as I'm assuming) it's actually their new engine that they'll be supplying.
