Italiano term
conferimento di incarico
Da Italiano a Inglese
Legale/Brevetti
Legale: Contratti
The text is a contract whereby Company A engages Company B to effect market research for the sale of its products in Europe. It's referred to as "Contratto di conferimento di incarico" where Company A is the "preponente" (Principal) and Company B is the "incaricato" or the "societa incaricata".
Am I right in calling this a sub-contract agreement where Company B is a sub-contractor?
I am just trying to ensure that I'm using the proper terminology.
Thank you !

appointment
"Contract of appointment" where the client A appoints the market research consultants B. If you want you have a client and a consultant. There is no sub contract here.

Appointment contract
I like "appointment contract" more than "contract of appointment". It seems to come up more frequently if you google the terms. I agree that there's no sub-contract, therefore the other party should be the contractor.
