I found a translation for salvo a buon fine, but I don't really understand it. I realize it is more than one term but I think you need all I put in for full understanding.
More text for you;
A tal fine la rimessa da parte dei Clienti di titoli di credito non varrà come pagamento, ma salvo buon fine e a maturazione valuta.

subject to collection and with interest accruing from the value date
"valuta" here means the "value date" which is date on which interest starts to accrue. Interest may well accrue from the date on (for example) a check, but the cheque could easily clear (be collected) well after that date. So payment will be considered when the check is collected with interest. This kind of thing is important when you consider discounts and trade credit (payment within 30 days and so on). I don't think there is a standard term for this "a maturazione valuta" in English.

subject to collection and hold
"salvo buon fine" means "subject to collection"; "maturazione valuta" means, literally, "occurrence of the value date." However, no interest need be applied - it merely means that the check must not only clear, but the holding period must elapse before the funds are available. So two conditions must be met before the funds are available; even if the check clears and the bank receives payment, the funds will not be released until the value date. And if the value date lapses but the check has not cleared, the funds will likewise not be available.
Example sentence:
salvo buon fine a maturazione valuta: l’accredito degli effetti avviene a scadenza più giorni banca senza attendere la comunicazione di pagato.

: Interesting, but is not the same thing. Valuta is often shorther than the holding period . http://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/check-hold.asp#axzz1eAKA...

subject to collection and at bank's value date
I agree with Steven reference and that interest is not involved here.
Maturazione valuta simply means the number of days the bank takes before you can actually use the funds. Therefore you do not recognise the payment received by your customer until you actually have the funds available on your account (this is the meaning here) and subject to collection.
