the whole sentence is:
Il Collegio Sindacale non ha obiezioni da formulare in merito alla proposta di deliberazione presentata dal consiglio di amministrazione per la COPERTURA DELLA PERDITA DELL'ESERCIZIO.

What I don't understand is: this is a Company who is making a profit for this particular business year (on a previous page we read "lo stato patrimoniale evidenzia un risultato positivo d'esercizio di euro 12.345.678....") so why talk of PERDITA?

could it be that it is referring to losses made on a different business year/period, which need to be covered in the current year? just guessing...

"Replenish the loss for the year"
I don' Know what is on the other page Lietta, but this is the loss for the year. There is nothing else it can mean. By Italian law they have to keep the share capital up to a set level, so losses get "replenished"
