Yes CORE and RCUR are English, so Prg. and Car. could be too.
Is it important what all the letters stand for? Doesn't your customer just need to know that it's a SEPA direct debit to American Express?

We don't know for sure that it's Italian rather than English. RCUR could be recurring, prg could be programma, car could be carta. But I'm just guessing.
