How is made the glass “acidato”?

Il vetro è attaccabile solo dall’acido fluoridrico. Esso viene usato quindi per realizzare decorazioni delle lastre e per le satinature. L’acido corrode la superficie provocando delle microporosità che danno origine appunto all’effetto acidato.
The glass is attachable only by some acids. The hydrofluoric acid is used to make decorations on the plates and to satin. The acid corrodes the surface provoking some micro porosity that give origin to the acidato effect.
