U.K. English
Not urgent. No context. I'm just curious.
As a speaker of U.S. English, I always translate this as "marketing," but I have also seen "commercialisation," which has a negative meaning in the U.S.
Is 'commercialisation" correct for a U.K. audience?

Commercialisation
Like all words - it depends on the context . The Italian word is generally used to cover the range of activities from production/marketing/distribution/sales.
The following definition is more technical and does not necessarily carry negative overtones in English.
Commercialisation - the final stage of the new product development process in which the decision is made to put the new product into full scale production and to launch it. See New Product Development; Product Launch.

Discussion
I'm interested in the general range of options.
And sorry about the misspelling; I only slept a few hours and needed more "zzzzzzs"
