🌱 I was born in the UK into a family of mixed Irish and Italian heritage.
After pursuing translation studies both in Italy and the UK, I started out as a précis writer in a media monitoring company. This was followed by a long stint in a busy translation agency, where I became familiar with a wide range of subject areas, eventually specialising in marketing and technical content. A strong believer in life-long learning and yearning to move from the written to the spoken word, I later completed a conference interpreting programme in Switzerland.
