What translation project are you working on right now?
A week full of art: translated for a Skira catalogue an article by a famous Catalan jewelry designer; for a photography book, a poetic text by a well-known Belgian photographer; for Museo Picasso Málaga, a press release about the new room dedicated to Picasso's ceramics.  (edited) Just finished an interesting essay, Spanish to Italian, about Giambattista, Domenico and Lorenzo Tiepolo's paintings at Madrid Palacio Real.
(edited) Translating a monograph about the famous jazz pianist Enrico Pieranunzi (50.000 words). Just finished a stimulating six-month educational project: the translation of "Formidable! Nouvelle méthode de français" (Hachette/Editrice La Scuola) with and for the fantastic Barbara Spanu (owner of Pico Traduction & Conseil). Translating the press kit for Catalonia exhibition at Venice "Biennale d'Architettura" (which has been postponed to 2121 due to coronavirus). |
