So many people said they have one - I'd be curious to know what they are !!! For starters, here is mine: Although I always start working around 7 am, I am usually not showered and properly dressed until much later in the morning - this will change...

I'm going to quit smoking in the new year. I haven't made resolutions in years, just didn't see the point, but this time I'm using it as an excuse/incentive/motivation to finally kick off the habit for good. In the meantime, I'm going to smoke my brains out while I still can!

I plan to make a New Year's REVOLUTION!
I'm still trying to catch up with my past "New Year Resolutions" so I have decided that I'm not going to make any new ones until I'm done with the older ones.

Any time, yes, but new year is convenient | Dec 30, 2005 |

Sometimes it's helpful to use the New Year as a mnemonic device: "How long have you been taking proper care of your teeth and gums?" "Since January 1, 2006." But if you get a good idea to improve your life, don't wait till the New Year! Start now! For instance, I joined a gym on Nov 30. I do better if I keep records. "Since January 1, 2006, I have been flossing twice a day." "Since November 30, 2005..." OR "For five weeks now I have been going to the gym three times a week."

I just don't feel like quitting any of my bad habits : I wake up late, I spend a whole lot of money on clothes & presents, I start a thousand things at a time that God knows when I manage to finish ... but I don't feel like changing, yet In the New Year I'll try to keep things going. hmm.. Is it that bad ?

Major one: Stop smoking. I managed this before, using those patches, and it was no great ordeal. I stayed "clean" for six years. The cause for the return was a one-off stressful situation, the reason for not stopping again was just force of habit and stupidity. Give it a whirl, guys. Minor one: Stop making an ass of myself at Powwows by getting uproariously drunk and trying to flirt with charming young ladies. (Here's lookin' at you, honey... See more Major one: Stop smoking.
