40 years in translation!

After 40 years as a translator (7 of them full-time), I can handle almost anything, except some very specialized subjects (e.g., medicine). Overall, I must have translated by now over 26 million words.

My long career in many different jobs (apart from translation) has also resulted in a significant know-how and intellectual baggage that allows me to provide you with the highest quality translations. A brief summary:

• Native Spanish, fully bilingual in English.
• Sworn translator of German for the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1981).
• Works as freelance translator since 1977 and started working as full-time translator in 1982 at an aerospace company.
• Degree in Computer Sciences by the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain.
• Certificate in German by the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas of Madrid, Spain.
• French Baccalauréat (High School)
• Translations from Dutch/English/French/German/Spanish -> English/Spanish
