My name is Mercedes Quesada and I studied in the Dominican Republic as a Chemical Engineer. I worked at Colgate Palmolive for five years before moving to the United States in 1992. Once in the States, I worked with major pharmaceutical companies like SmithKline Beecham and Pfizer. I managed quality control and used my expertise to write and update new analytical procedures. As a result, I am very familiar with all pharmaceutical and chemical terminology. 

When Pfizer decided to close its facility in Miami, I started a new journey as a Senior Hispanic Editor at Yupi Internet. I managed and maintained the Health and Tourism channel’s Internet content, including news coverage and special events.

My knowledge of English and Spanish chemical and pharmaceutical terminology and language, combined with an excellent understanding of Spanish grammar and orthographic rules, allows me to deliver scientific, medical and pharmaceutical translations that are accurate, precise and of the highest quality.
