My career in translating, editing, and writing spans three decades and covers work in travel & tourism, economics & finance, and academic disciplines including STEM, the social sciences, and religion. I grew up bilingual (English and German) and learned basic French, Hebrew, Italian, Spanish, and Tibetan, which helped me develop a talent for spotting language syntactic differences. For four years, I also studied Latin, which made possible, work on English language translations from fourteen different European languages, including, Czech, Greek, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, and Swedish.
