Vamos comemorar o Dia do Tradutor?
Em nome da APTRAD (Associação Portuguesa de Tradutores e Intérpretes) estou organizando esse encontro do qual todos os tradutores (não necessariamente membros da APTRAD) podem (e devem!) participar.
Um almoço, é sábado, tive a ideia de nos reunirmos em um lugar muito legal, cheio de história e com comida fantástica, além de um preço fixo acessível.
Vocês já ouviram falar do restaurante francês La Casserole? É um dos restaurantes franceses mais tradicionais da cidade de São Paulo, com mais de 60 anos!
Um bistrô francês que conserva o aconchego e o charme do país de seus fundadores, Em 1954, os franceses Roger Henry e sua esposa Fortunée inauguraram o La Casserole, em frente ao Mercado das Flores, no Largo do Arouche, onde se encontra até os dias atuais. A culinária e os ares franceses estão presentes em cada detalhe, desde o delicioso cardápio até a decoração.
Para comemorar nosso dia, conseguimos um menu fixo de R$ 64,00 composto por:

Entrada (opção única): Quiche de cogumelos, mix de folhas verdes
Prato Principal (duas opções): Coxa e sobrecoxa de frango confitada,
molho laranja, mix de legumes ou
Ravióli de abóbora, manteiga de sálvia com sementes tostadas
Sobremesa (duas opções): Profiteroles (carolinas recheadas com calda de chocolate) ou Frutas frescas
Bebidas: água, suco e refrigerante à vontade.
Não incluídos: bebidas alcoólicas, couvert (R$10,00) e serviço (opcional)
Comandas individuais.

Acho que a maneira mais fácil de chegar pode ser por metrô (Praça da República e andar alguns quarteirões), mas quem quiser ir de carro há um serviço de valet disponível a R$20,00 por três horas.
A gente precisa sair da rotina de vez em quando e nada melhor do que encontrar colegas, amigos, conhecer mais gente e aumentar nosso círculo de amigos/colegas. Vai ser bom!

I hope you get a location better than the past PowWow which was very crowded and extremely hard to move around - one basically had to stay in the chair - so didn't get to interact with many others - you had a PowWow at a loction near Avenida Paulista once - that was quite spacious

Sounds interesting, but the big issue is that I shall be attending Cátia's workshop on medical translation at Estácio which is a full-day event, and I also have to check out of the hotel. The event only allows one hour for lunch, which makes things a bit tight. Then there is the wait for Über and possible traffic on Amaral Gurgel Avenue (there was a traffic jam today, according to Google Maps).My experience is that Über Select would be about 20 Reais, as I paid 30 Reais once for Ana Rosa to ... I talked to Catia Santana and asked her if it would be possible (if Estácio de Sá agrees and the participants of the worshop as well) to allow 2 hours for the lunch and finish the workshop one hour later. Let's wait and see if this is feasible! I would like to see you there! ▲ Collapse
