Does Transit provide any means of auto-completion/auto-suggestion?

For me, SP 10 was a reason to play around a little with Transit again. It has been some time now since I stopped using Transit, so my knowledge is a little rusty.

I was wondering: Does Transit provide any means of auto-completion/auto-suggestion?

With this project:

coffee

I was expecting to see some typing aid for 'coffee', 'coffeemaker' etc.

As far as I know, I have set all relevant settings in Transit's configuration menus.

did you try the source fuzzy function? Maybe not exactly what you expect as "autocomplete", but a kind of...

Hi Hans,

I suppose target fuzzy is not what you mean, is it? I stopped using the target language fuzzy shortly after installing Transit NXT as I found it confusing and hindering my train of thoughts.

I know that some colleagues say Trados Studio's Autosuggest function is one of the main advantages over the use of Transit. I have never seen a demonstration how it actually works, though.

Not really helpful, I am afraid.

With Youtube service it is not a problem nowadays to see how this feature works. In other words, see it in action.

Actually, as I don't believe in any kind of machine translation and at the same time I am not a lightning-speed typist, this feature improves greatly my general velocity of translation. And I cannot imagine how to live without it
