Buongiorno a tutti,

Buongiorno a tutti,

Qui sotto i contatti FALSIFICATI:
nome: Sharmila Laux
telefono: +39 350047104
email: [email protected]
nazionalità: italiana, giapponese
Il tutto utilizzando una mia foto.

I miei contatti VERI sono:
nome: Francesca Reale
telefono: + 39 3500347333
email: [email protected] / [email protected]

Salve,

a me pure e' capitata una cosa simile.

[TKT#596539] Phishing Email sent from Proz

Provvederò a fare come mi suggerite.

Scam Karim Romereo Apr 3, 2019

Ciao a tutti,

Buona fortuna!

Hello, I do not write in Italian, but I am asking everybody I know or I can reach in this professional field to please spread the word about the scammer that is pretending to impersonate me

My name is Karim Romero, I am the owner of Certified Language Solutions LLC. Someone online is using my name, my email signature, my online profile at proz.com, https://www.proz.com/profile/1128193, and the name of my company to trick translators around the world. I have received many many emails from freelancers and companies requesting payments of up to $5,000 from us, for they have completed for this scammer.

The scammer uses the name of Karim Romereo or Karim Romeo, pretending to be me. I contacted him and now, he is also USING MY EMAIL SIGNATURE. He copied my signature from the email I sent him, Of course, he never answered... Horrible!!!

I have also reported this to godaddy.com, bluehost.com, and the American Translators Association.
Freelancers, please double check for proper spelling as the scammer often changes the name by one letter.

Look at in my proz.com profile which states I am NOT that scam Karim Romereo

https://www.proz.com/profile/1128193

Our website is certranslations.com, The email this scammer uses is certeanslations.net, which does not exist.

PLEASE SHARE THIS SCAM ACTIVITY and report to spread the word. One of the frelancers posted here...

If you know if there is something else I can do to stop this scammer, please let me know.

Thank you!

Hi Karim,

Thanks for sharing this. I am writing to inform you that those scammers started to use Upwork to send scam letters using your personal details. They offered me a 200 pages translation from English into Russian. I got suspicious of them and decided to make a search so found this thread. Wish you great patience.

Regards,
Odil
