Hello everyone,
I´m pretty sure this has already been discussed a lot (I found some threads regarding this topic) but I am still wondering if I can work properly with Transit NXT documents (import PPF and export TXP?) in CafeTran. Like I said before, I have found some threads with links to tutorials, but those are not available anymore.
I´d appreciate some (much needed) help
Regards and a nice evening,
Thorben

Hi Teo,
Hans Lenting is in charge of the old wiki, but it is currently being hosted on my server space @

CafeTran cannot open PPF (project) packages nor can it create TPF (return) packages. You can just open and create them yourself, since they are actually ZIP files.
CafeTran can open and save Transit NXT language files. You'll have to decide whether you want to create the language file for the source language or the (possibly partially translated) language file for the target language.
Once you've finalised your translation, you can create your own ZIP file containing the translated target language file(s), place the updated PRJ (project) definition file in it and rename the package to .TPF (not TXP).
The modification of the PRJ file is nothing more than setting the value of the IsExchange parameter to 1:
[Exchange] IsExchange=1
