1. I would like to understand a little about your practice. Can you please tell me a little bit about yourself and your practice?

2. [IF PCP] How comfortable are you prescribing pain medications for neuropathic pain or do you typically refer to a Neurologist?

3. What is your general treatment approach to neuropathic pain? Can you walk through what you would typically prescribe 1L? 2L? 3L? [anti-epileptics, anti-depressants, opioids and topical]
a. How, if at all, does you treatment approach differ for specific sub-populations of neuropathic pain patients (e.g. diabetic peripheral neuropathy, spinal cord injury, post-herpetic neuralgia, etc.)
b. Are there certain products you prescribe more of, compared to others? Why (efficacy, cost, etc.)?
4. [IF Neuro] At what point or for what reason might you switch medication that the patient came in with?
5. What are the biggest challenges you face with treating patients today for neuropathic pain?

Source text - English Gold prices moved lower over the final month of 2016. Higher interest rates in the U.S combined by the increased possibility of further rate increases over 2017 put gold prices under pressure over December. Gold prices finished 2016 at $1,145oz. Gold prices have been supported by the low interest rate environment and Central Bank support for the majority of 2016, but with this support now fading, gold prices as well as other interest rate sensitive assets, have fallen in value. According to the COT report from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, which tracks long and short positions in futures markets, the total net long gold futures position fell by 13,055 contracts over the last week of December. This historical looking data confirms that many traders and speculators sold their long gold positions as prices moved lower. There has been a steady outflow of money leaving bond market, emerging market and alternatives in favour of US stocks. This trend had amplified after the U.S election in November which signalled a possible uptick in inflation and interest rates in the U.S over 2017 and beyond. We continue to believe that with gold under pressure, any significant move downwards will provide the opportunity to get long.
