Based in Puerto Rico I work as a Coordinator for the Occupational Safety and Health Department and Environmental Management of a multinational company. The need for written resources in Spanish lead me a few years ago to start on a mission to translate from safety written programs to assessment forms and everything we need to get the employees involved with to make their jobs and our lives (as the company) easier.
Over the years I have been used in the company for several translations projects, such as standard operating procedures, safety and health guidlines, training presentations, etc.
I have also learn the value of a good translation to carry the desire message. Translate is not only the change of words to a different language but is the intent to transmit the message behind the words we change.
