A woman who was denied an interpreter for her deaf husband at Westmead Private hospital while she was pregnant is launching a discrimination case in the federal court against Ramsay Health Care.

When Kate Hinton was pregnant, her husband Anthony was denied a professional Auslan interpreter to allow him to participate in antenatal classes at the hospital. He was also denied an interpreter during the birth of their child. More.
