Pak vjet më parë, kur lënda e interpretimit u instalua për herë të parë në kurrikulumin e Degës së Gjuhës Angleze në Universitetin e Vlorës, në leksionet e mia të interpretimit tentova të përdor termat interpretim i njëkohësishëm për interpretimin simultan dhe interpretim i njëpasnjëshëm për interpretimin konsekutiv. Por termat e huazuar simultan dhe konsekutiv u përdorën me më shumë lehtësi dhe shumë më shpesh sesa fjalët përkatëse shqipe.
