Interference is common in all systems and quite difficult to avoid.
I have been researching this theme. I'd like to say that there are many pros and cons of language interference. Nevertheless, there is a negative connotations of intereference.

I suggest reading our modern authors that state hypothesis on linguistic and cultural interference.
