I am a translator of Italian to English specialised in academic and popular history. I have considerable experience in translating materials related to military, political, cultural and social history and to current affairs. I have also worked extensively in the fields of art and architecture.

Beyond these areas I have experience of translating marketing materials, market research, all kinds of tourist material, children's literature, and texts relating to fashion, beauty, hairdressing and clothing.

I am an active research historian with a doctorate in Italian history (University of Oxford, 2006). I also work as a freelance journalist writing on Italian football.
