Freelance Translator ES/PT>IT

I'm a freelance Italian mothertongue translator from Spanish and Portuguese (both European and Brazilian) to Italian. Since 2005 I have been cooperating with several international translation agencies in all services related to GILT (Globalization, Internationalization, Localization and Translation).

Specialized in: Website localization, Tourism & Travel, History of Art, Marketing and Communication, Fashion, Media, Culinary, Subtitling.

For what concerns my teaching activity, since 2006 I have been working as a Spanish teacher in the Secondary School and at University, where I also teach Literary, Technical and Audiovisual Translation. I teach Spanish, Portuguese (European) and Italian as foreign languages and I specialize in Media Education, Web 2.0 Education and Social Media Language Learning.

Besides my translation professional and my teaching activity, I have a PhD in Language Studies at Salento University (Italy). My research fields are Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Translation Studies, Audiovisual Translation, Portuguese and Spanish Cinema, Corpora Analysis, Language Teaching, Web 2.0 Education, Social Media Language Learning.

In 2009 and 2012/2013 I lived and worked in Lisbon (Portugal).
