As a thriving metropolis, Sioux Falls and the surrounding counties have become the hub for human activity in this four-state area. With the influx of new citizens from so many foreign countries, language differences present a challenge in areas of employment, law enforcement, medical care, and other services.

Overcoming barriers in communication is imperative to the health of any community.
A to Z World Languages is able to meet those challenges promptly and effectively because interpreting is not our sideline - it is our business. We have the largest data base of interpreters in the area, representing 97 languages and dialects, and the roster is still growing.

In measuring area needs over a period of seventeen years, we have drawn together the resources to provide 24-hour service, seven days a week through a single phone call to our office.

We offer experienced leadership in the field, and our interpreters are trained in proper protocol.

We also offer professional translation service from English to any of the foreign languages listed on the language list or vice versa.

TRAINING:
• When it comes to the code of ethics training, we go by the NCIHC (The National Council on Interpreting in Health Care) , considered the highest recognized standard within the health care industry. Our Interpreters are also trained in hospital coding, HIPPA regulations, medical and legal terminology.

SAFETY:
• All our interpreters are required to submit to an annual TB (Tuberculosis) test. If any test positive, they are immediately restricted, and are able to resume work only after accepted medical protocols have been taken and clearance has been granted.

CERTIFICATIONS:
• In the field of linguistics, interpreters are considered those who orally explain what is being said; translators are those who work with written documents. A to Z World Languages employs only certified translators to guarantee you the most accurate translation of your documents.

• With A to Z World Languages, you have a choice of 98 different languages and dialects, 24 or more which are not covered by the Language line. We also provide interpreters skilled in American Sign Language.

• We’ve added an online request form so our clients no longer need to call or fill out individual forms for each appointment. At www.atozworldlanguages.com , you can request as many as ten different appointments on one form.

CONFERENCE FRIENDLY:
• We have the ability to conference as many lines as you need, in your choice of 98 languages and dialects.
• In addition, we offer free conferencing calls to ensure that non-English speaking client understand the time and location of their appointments. This reduces the incidence of no-shows, and minimizes the associated costs.
