Un dinar, una sobretaula, on a algú que sap improvisar sempre se li requereix que improvisi alguna cosa, o ell es llença a improvisar.
Partint deixa forma d’improvisar, de sobretaula és sobre lo que s’està fent tot el revival de la cançó improvisada als Països Catalans, perquè realment lo que s’està revaloritzant actualment és eixa capacitat lúdica i comunicativaque té la cançó improvisada. Aleshores no se
contracta a un especialista, sinó que hi ha diversa gent que sap improvisar i es llença. Pràcticament qualsevol pot dedicar-se a improvisar i se sent partícip de la festa.

A chat over lunch, where someone who knows how to improvise alyways has to think something up, or they take it upon themselves to improvise.
This form of improvisation over lunch is creating a comeback of improvised music in the Catalan-speaking areas, because really what’s being given value now is that lucid communicative capacity that improvised music has. So no specialist is hired, instead there’s different people who know how to improvise who just jump into it and get involved. Practically anyone can dedicate themselves to improvisation, feeling included in the festival.

Source text - Spanish El día que decreció cien mil veces mi tamaño...aún lo recuerdo. Y cada vez que me viene a la mente
siento escalofríos.
Era una noche fría y lluviosa. Yo estaba muy cansada, y no tardé en despedirme de mis padres y subir a
mi habitación. No conseguía dormir, como de costumbre, y para intentar conciliar el sueño cogí un libro
de la estantería que tengo desde hace años u que nunca antes había leído. El título era un poco raro; de
ésos que llaman la atención: "Dios y yo". Leí la parte de atrás para saber de qué trataba. Era algo
parecido a un diario, en el que un niño llamado Igor contaba las conversaciones que tenía con Dios todas
las noches. "¡ Qué absurdo!", pensé. "¡Dios no existe! Este librito es ideal para el que tenga insomnio;
¡seguro que se queda dormido de aburrimiento!"
Comencé a leer lentamente, y poco a poco, fui cerrando los ojos sin darme cuenta. Ojalá no lo hubiera
hecho...
Me desperté sobresaltada. Ya era de día y los rayos del sol entraban por la ventana. Me molestaba que
la luz me diera directamente en la cara, así que traté de incorporarme. Cuando lo hice, el susto que me
llevé fue gigantesco. ¡La cama era extremadamente grande! ¿o yo extremadamente pequeña?
Como pude, bajé hasta el suelo y corrí hacia la puerta. No sabía que mi habitación tuviera tantos
kilómetros. De pronto, alguien entró. Era mamá. No parecía sorprenderse de no verme en mi cama. Ni
siquiera se percató de mi presencia. Se movía de un lado para otro, cosa que no es normal en ella.
Intenté hacer que me viera, y creo que no hace falta decir que no lo conseguí. Apenada, bajé las
escaleras. ¡Tardé bastante en hacerlo! Pasaron las horas y nadie preguntó por mí, a pesar de saber que
había dormido en casa, y me extrañó mucho. Creo recordar que tampoco mencionaron mi nombre.
Varias veces traté de advertirles de que estaba allí, sin resultado alguno. Me sentí tan impotente...
¿Es que no les importaba? Seguían comportándose como si nada, y lo que más me dolió era que no me
echaban de menos en absoluto. No hay palabras para explicar la soledad que sentía, a pesar de estar
rodeada de gente.
¿Cómo podría comunicarme con ellos, si ni siquiera se acordaban de mí?
Cansada de que me ignoraran de esa manera, comencé a gritarles: "¿pero, qué os pasa? ¿es que me
habéis olvidado? Aunque no me veáis, ¡¡¡estoy aquí!!! ¿por qué me hacéis esto?
De repente oí a lo lejos una voz: " Hija, despierta..."
¡ Era mi madre! Abrí los ojos lentamente, y la vi frente a mí. Tenía los ojos como platos. Me dijo que me
oyó gritar desde el salón y vino corriendo para ver qué había pasado. Estaba empapada en sudor. ¡Todo
había sido un sueño! ¡Un sueño absurdo!
Le dije que no se preocupara, que estaba bien. Mientras la veía alejarse tranquila hacia la puerta, se me
escapó una sonrisa. ¡Qué alivio sentí al ver que todo había vuelto a la normalidad!
Miré al suelo un momento. Ahí, tirado, estaba el librito que leía antes de quedarme dormida. Con
curiosidad, eché una ojeada a la última página, y leí en voz alta: "Querido Igor, te comprendo
perfectamente. Yo también me siento solo muchas veces. Por el hecho de ser invisible, las personas me
ignoran totalmente, y algunas se ponen hechas una furia si mencionan mi nombre. ¿Sabes tú por qué
hacen esto? ¿Porqué me hacen sentir como algo infinitamente pequeño?"
Me quedé helada. Esas palabras me sonaban. Cerré el libro y lo puse en su sitio. Pensativa, me senté en
mi cama preguntándome lo que miles de personas se preguntan hoy día: ¿será verdad que Dios existe y
nosotros, que nos juzgamos tan inteligentes, ignoramos esto? Quizás la respuesta nos pueda
sorprender...
Translation - English The day I got a hundred thousand times smaller… I still remember it. Every time I think of it I get goosebumps.
It was a cold, rainy night. I was really tired, so I made sure to quickly say goodnight to my parents and head up to my room. I couldn’t sleep, as usual, so I took a book I'd had for years without having read it from the bookshelf to try and get to sleep. The title was a bit weird; it was the kind of title that really grabs your attention: “God and I”. I read the blurb on the back to figure out what it was about. It looked like a diary, where a boy called Igor talked about the conversations he would have with God every night. “How absurd!” I thought. “God doesn’t exist! This is the ideal book for someone with insomnia, reading it would definitely make you fall asleep out of boredom!”
I started reading slowly, and bit by bit I started closing my eyes without even noticing. If I only I hadn’t…
I woke up with a start. It was already daytime and the sun’s rays came in through the window. The sunlight hitting me directly in the face annoyed me, so I tried to sit up. When I did so, the shock I felt was huge. The bed was extremely big! Or was I extremely small?
As best I could, I got down onto the floor and ran towards the door. I didn’t my room ran for so many kilometres. Suddenly, someone came in. It was Mum. She didn’t seem surprised at not seeing me in bed. She didn’t even notice my presence. She moved from one side to the other, which isn’t normal behavior for her. I tried to get her to see me, and I don’t think it needs saying that I didn’t manage to. Saddened, I went down the stairs. It took me a while to do it! Hours passed and no-one asked for me, even though they knew that I had slept at home, and this puzzled me. I don’t think I remember them even mentioning my name. I tried to get their attention and show them I was there several times, with no result. I felt so powerless…
Didn’t I matter to them? They kept acting like nothing was going on, and what hurt me the most was that they didn’t miss me at all. Words can’t explain how lonely I felt, despite being surrounded by people.
How can I communicate with them if they can’t even remember me?
Tired of being ignored this way, I started shouting: “What’s wrong with you? Have you forgotten me? Even though you can’t see me, I’m right here!!! Why are you doing this to me?”
Suddenly I heard a voice from afar: “Wake up…”
It was Mum! I slowly opened my eyes, and I saw her standing in front of me. Her eyes were wide open. She said she heard me yelling from the living room and ran up to see what was going on. I was covered in sweat. It was all a dream! An absurd dream!
I told her not to worry and that I was alright. As I saw her calmly walk away towards the door I started smiling. What a relief I felt at seeing that everything was back to normal!
I looked at the floor for a moment. Lying there was my book, the one I read before going to sleep. Out of curiosity, I looked at the last page, reading it out loud: “Dear Igor, I understand you perfectly. I also feel lonely a lot of the time. Since I’m invisible, people completely ignore me, and some of them get furious at the very mention of my name. Do you know why they do this? Why do they make me feel infinitely small?”
I froze. Those words sounded familiar. I closed the book and put it back in its place. Thoughtful, I sat on my bad asking what many people ask nowadays: is it true that God exists and we, as intelligent as we are, don’t know it? The answer could surprise us...
