My philosophy 

Language is my passion and my calling. There is hardly anything in the world I can do better and love doing more than writing or translating.
As I see it, shaping words into a text is the work as delicate as, say, making pottery—in the hands of a skilful craftsman separate words, like pliant clay,
turn into an exquisite piece of art. Also, it is comparable to a sophisticated surgery—in a good text, semantically and syntactically correct, the word choice must be as precise and the word order as accurate as the movements of a surgeon’s scalpel. Finally, it has something in common with haute cuisine—a stylistically sustained text is always beautifully garnished, properly seasoned and has a perfect flavour to it. No matter what you call it, it is art.
And this is the kind of an expert I strive to be.

Strengths/skills 

I am head over heels in love with... the English language. This passionate love drives me hard to daily grind away at grammar and vocabulary, improve my reading,
writing, listening and speaking skills – there is always room for perfection – thus making me a better translator/interpreter from day to day.

Two mother tongues: an ethnic Ukrainian, I was raised in Southeast Ukraine, in the bilingual environment, where both Ukrainian and Russian are fluently spoken.

Excellent command of both mother tongues, in-depth knowledge of syntax, spelling, punctuation, word formation, morphology, lexicology, stylistics – my target texts
(in Ukrainian and Russian) are of a good style and error-free, hence need little, if any, editing/proof-reading.

Good writing, editing/proofreading skills.
