I have a varied career history, which has taken me from working in house for a translation agency to tourism, to IT network security, and latterly ERP (SAP Finance / HR Business Analysis). I also studied Law and have vast experience of dealing with contracts of engagement through my work as a consultant. I am a fully qualified pilot.

My non professional special areas of expertise are classical music and food/wine, and I'm a violinist and harpist.

I only translate into English, and I stick to fields in which I have hands on professional experience within my source languages, which gives me the edge over those who only have a translation background.

I am a full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and a member of IAPTI.
