Bio
I specialise in translating and revising legal and political texts. My main language combination is English to Bulgarian.

I am a law graduate of Sofia University and I have worked as a lawyer. I have translation and lawyer-linguist experience gained at the European Commission and the European Central Bank, where I translated and revised legal texts in the areas of EU justice and home affairs, external relations, institutional matters, monetary policy, banking supervision and statistics.

My most recent translation projects include a translation in the field of EU consumer law and a legal translation in the area of banking and finance statistics.

I live in Edinburgh, UK where I also undertake interpreting assignments for the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service, Police Scotland, the local government and the National Health Service.
