L’alarme de déclenche que faut-il faire
Votre alarme anti-intrusion se déclenche ? Suivez les étapes suivantes ;
Contrôler
L’alarme se déclenche t-il effectivement par une intrusion ou tentative d’intrusion ?
Y a-t-il des traces d’intrusions ? Y a-t-il des traces d’effractions ? Véhicules suspect ? Du bruit dans la maison ? Ou bien une fausse alarme ?
Un des utilisateurs a oublié de désarmer la zone ou une porte est resté ouverte ;
Appelez le numéro d’urgences ;
Utilisez les numéros d’appel d’urgences et non ceux de la police local
Vous ne pouvez pas appeler ces numéros s’il s’agit d’une fausse alarme. Communiquer dans la mesure possible :
- Votre nom et numéro de téléphone :
- Le numéro de l’utilisateur de votre système d’intrusion ;
- Comment avez verifier qu’il ne s’agit pas d’une fausse alarme ;
- Dans quelle partie du bâtiment il se passe quelque chose.
Rendez-vous sur les lieux
A l’arrivée de la police, il doit y avoir quelqu’un pour faire rentrer la police et d’arrêter le système d’alarme. Vous pouvez également envoyer un contact ou un agent de gardiennage.
NB : Les policiers sont toujours les premiers à rentrer dans le bâtiment car ils sont les mieux formé et équipé pour évaluer le risque.
REMARQUES
- Il arrive souvent que l’appel d’urgence ne soit pas traiter immédiatement si :
- Si l’alarme n’a pas été virifier
- Si vous n’avez pas communiqué les informations nécessaires
Ce qu’il ne faut pas faire
- D’appelé les numéros d’urgences sans vérifier au préalable qu’il s’agit pas d’une fausse alarme
- De signaler une alarme par message téléphonique préenregistrer dans le système. Ce système de signalisation occupe les lignes de la police alors que celles-ci doivent être disponibles.
Fausse alarme
La police peut donc neutraliser les sirènes extérieures par tous les moyens sans votre autorisation, mais ne peut pas accéder au bâtiment.
Celui qui mobilise les forces de l’ordre pour une fausse alarme risque de payer une amande.

What must be done once the alarm has been set off? Follow these steps:
Control
Did the alarm go off because of an intrusion or attempted intrusion?
Are there signs of intrusion? Are there signs of forced entry? Suspect vehicles? Noise in the building? Or was it a false alarm?
Did a user forget to disable the zone or forget to close a door?
Call the emergency numbers
Use the predetermined emergency numbers and not those of the local police.
You cannot call these numbers if it was a false alarm. To the extent that you can, be sure to communicate the following information:
- Your name and phone number
- The user number for the anti-intrusion system
- How you determined that this was not a false alarm
- Which part of the building is being intruded upon
On-site meeting
Someone needs to be present to enable the police to enter the building when they arrive, as well as to stop the alarm. You may also send a contact or security agent.
NB: The police must always be the first to enter the building as they are properly trained and equipped to evaluate the risks.
COMMENTS
Emergency calls are often not processed immediately if:
- The genuine nature of the alarm has not been established
- The necessary information and details were not provided
What NOT to do
- Call the emergency numbers without having previously established whether this is a genuine alarm or merely a false alarm.
- Signal an alarm by means of pre-recorded telephone messages in the system. This method of notification ties up police telephone lines when they need to be available.
False alarms
The police is able to neutralize all external sirens without your authorization, but they may not proceed into the building without your permission.
Anyone calling in law enforcement for a false alarm may be subject to fines.

Source text - English The Eastern provinces of the DRC have suffered from intermittent but serious violence over the last six years, even as the remainder of the country has stabilized. Foreign armed groups continue to be active, violence against civilians remains at extremely high levels, and an estimated two million people are displaced from their homes.
However, a window of opportunity has recently opened for political progress. One major armed group (the CNDP) and a number of smaller militias agreed in March 2009 to integrate their cadres into Government structures. Relations with Uganda and Rwanda have also improved, and reinvigorated and credible operations are now ongoing against the two largest armed groups: the FDLR (in North and South Kivu) and the LRA (in Uganda).
Against this background, the Government has finalized a Stabilization and Reconstruction Plan for War-Affected Areas in June 2009 (STAREC). To support this plan, the United Nations system and key partners have revised the existing Stabilization Strategy developed in 2008 (the UNSSSS) to better align it with key Government priorities.

Occasional postings to other countries (Belgium, Senegal) and an excellent International School education gave me an international world-view. I grew up speaking French, English and German and still speak all 3 at native level.
I did my university studies in England (grad. 1991, 1st-class honours) and continued to live and work there until 2001, when I moved to the United States. I now live in New Mexico (a beautiful State!) with clients based all over the world, primarily in the US, Europe and central Africa.
Previous experience as a computer trainer & documentation author have given me strong skills in time- and work-load management, not to mention a capacity to understand what clients want and provide it in a timely manner.
