"Locución – Voice over – Voz en off
Es la grabación del texto del anuncio por parte de una voz escogida. En radio se usa el término locución. En cine y video también, junto a voz en off (OFF) y voice over (VO). La diferencia entre estos últimos es que un OFF es voz grabada sobre una pieza de video o cine terminada. El VO es una voz que está presente en la unidad espacio temporal del video o cine, pero no vemos quien la emite; es decir, se supone que es alguien “que está” en la escena y habla, pero no lo vemos. En el argot audiovisual se ambos se utilizan como sinónimos."
