spin freely Explanation: From the back side of the switch, using a 1/4" drill bit (you can use a larger one, just be careful to not drill through the plastic), drill the heads off of the aluminum rivets. If they spin freely, hold them on the other side so they do not move. There are 6 rivets in all. Reference: http://merc-benz.blogspot.com/2007/10/neutral-safety-switch-... |

to idle Explanation: ...is what it means -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 21 mins (2010-05-02 15:53:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- idle (Mecc) girare a vuoto. (Mecc) far girare a vuoto. http://dizionari.corriere.it/dizionario_inglese/Inglese/I/id... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 28 mins (2010-05-02 16:00:31 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Alternatively: to run idle http://rempart.edufr.net/tee/Doc/lexiques/glossary_final1.xl... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2010-05-02 17:32:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Thank you, Being Earnest, for the heads up. On second thoughts, I suggest "rotates freely" as a translation. Make sure the rivet rotates freely in the hole. http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/blogs/mikey/6619/show/ |
