Termine o frase Italiano: richiamo
'Il richiamo sarà inserito nel vostro libretto del Partito'

Said to schoolgirls during the communist period when caught smoking. Not clear what the consequences of it being recorded are. Closest I’ve got is ‘reprimand’. I know that official party reprimands are issued, but I’m not sure this is the same thing.
Closest the glossary gets is 'warning', but not in this context.

"reprimand" is just perfect! (see)
Spiegazione:
Listen to a Russian who grew up during that "communist period" o'yous, went to school in Moscow during the fifties and sixties, had been caught smoking in school bathrooms and issued reprimands for that.
In on-the-job or in-the-Party situations it was"vygovor" (a serious business, that), but at school it was "zamechanie" (literally "a remark" but in a sense of reproof) that they may also enter into your report book. However, I would translate both as "reprimand".

"Warning" (as someone suggested) is "preduprezhdenie" – a much more serious business, that: it would be issued after a dozen of reprimands, would be pregnant with suspension from school and would require some official reaction from the culprit's parents. So, stick with "reprimand"
In iItalian context, there has never been a communist period – not even close; but they behaved in exactly the same way during the fascist period – so, the same difference....

Scusa, quale "libretto del partito"? Che frottola è questa?
3. L'unica soluzione è questa "this reprimand will be entered in your Communist Youth Union record"... a brutta cosa, a proposito: poteva pesare un sacco nel futuro.

tipo una nota. This was called a referral when I was at school. There was a certain number of referrals before the headmaster was called in to decide on appropriate disciplinary action etc.

... although your 'reprimand' sounds fine. The girls have been caught smoking, they have been told off, and the rebuke is to be entered in their Communist party record book.
(Actually, it sounds like what happened at my convent, where our pecadilloes were solemnly recorded in our report book.)

Everything I can think of sounds a little strange. Even the "violation" "rule infringement". Can't you step around it. "You have been caught smoking. This will go down in your... ".
Just for the record, this "communist period", was it in Italy?
