prudent/accelerated recognition of expense/expenditure Explanation: I can't think of a specific equivalent accounting term in English, so I have sought a term which is descriptive (if not official). Essentially, instead of recognising a cost/expenditure over several years (because it has a beneficial economic impact over several years), they have accelerated recognition of that expenditure charging the remaining expenditure to the current year. |
