"A legacy product is one that is no longer under active development but has yet to be fully retired. This is not an automatic designation, and when it happens, it will be publicly announced through all our major channels of communication"

It is thus some kind of intermediate stage before the product is retired of the drug market. This is for a glossary, so the Spanish translation should ideally be a term in the narrow sense as well (and by this I mean without big expansions/explanations of the word).

Can someone help with his one? I'd be really grateful!
