Please, could you help me to translate this term? STACK DAMPER
It is a manual for a power system corporation: Stack Damper Operation
It seems to be like a damper to control how the water comes in and out, but not really sure about that.

Here it is some context for the translation:

"They consist of the damper casing with the flanges for installation into the duct as well as the drive brackets
for holding the actuators, the damper blade and one or more divided or undivided shafts. At the casing
passages the damper shafts are sealed by especially shaft sealing"

"The actuator (electric, pneumatic, hydraulic or hand wheel rep. hand lever) is flanged to the drive bracket.
He turns directly or indirectly by levers the damper blades"

With the text I don´t have problems but don´t really know the accurate translaton for stack damper.
