From an engineer's CV:

"Nedrivning af eksisterende gymnastiksal og opførelse af ny gymnastiksal og omklædningsrum delvist under terræn samt 4 basislokaler placeret i to etager over gymnastiksalen."

I've found drawings using the term for rooms at various sites on the Web, but I'm "basically" in the dark on this one. Maybe some sort of "multipurpose room"?
