I have a BA Hons in European Business Administration with German and I also am Diplom Kauffrau (FH). I have completed a MA in Translation from the University of the West of England.
After my first degree I worked in Birmingham in the major accounts section for a international parcel delivery company, where I was responsible for accounts such as Microsoft. In 2003 I moved to Vienna where I worked in the European headquarters of a well-known real estate company and did some translation work, translating from German into English and also carried out some freelance translation work in my spare time.
When I married my German husband we moved to Berlin in 2004 where I became a full-time freelance translator, specialising in business texts.
I am a keen sports enthusiast and regularly visit the gym. I am slowly becoming a real Berlinerin and love the German way of life and especially the bread!
I work hard to produce an excellent translation but I do need to see the text before I am able to provide a quote.
