Across - legal or not? Service level vendor working with freelancers who own Across

Good afternoon Proz!
I have been told that "SLVs have to own servers that their freelancers can access to translate using Across. They cannot work with freelancers that use the tool, as that is not legal."
Just wanted to double check this information.
All advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks!

it is completely legal for you to work with your Across Translator Edition for a LSP that is not working with an Across Language Server. They can send you a file via email for example and your can import the file in the section "Process my own projects". There you create a project, import the file, translate it, check it out and send it back to the LSP.
